For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 1500 bolt action rifle in .308 Winchester. Serial number- PN56983. This Model 1500 is in good condition and features a 22" barrel, a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight and an internal magazine. The Model 1500 rifles have earned a reputation for quality, performance and value around the country. These collectible Japanese-manufactured rifles were discontinued by S&W after only two years. In 1984, the company discontinued production on all long guns, including the Model 1500 rifle. Rifles and shotguns were made for S&W by Howa Machinery, Ltd., Japan. This model's production run lasted for only two years, and it has now become a collector's item.
