For sale is a Savage Stevens Model106 single-shot shotgun in .410 gauge. Serial number- NONE. shotgun is chambered for the .410 bore 2 1/2" shell which was introduced by Remington circa 1915. The European 12 mm 2" shell is can also be fired in the .410 bore 2 1/2" chamber. The patent date posted is for patent number 1,070,145 issued to George s. Lewis August 12, 1913 for a rebounding hammer. Stevens touted this model as the shotgun that introduced the .410 bore shell to America.
