Up for grabs is a Winchester Model 12 pump-action shotgun chambered in 16 gauge. Serial number- 1534592. This Model 12 is in good condition and features a 28 inch barrel with a 2 3/4 chamber and a modified choke. After running a serial number search, we've determined this shotgun was manufactured in 1955, making this a pre-64 model. The Winchester Model 1912 become one of the most popular shotguns of its day. Selling it first as the Model 1912, after WWI they simply marketed it as the Model 12. While the Model 97 hammer-gun was still in production as late as 1957, the hammerless M12 outsold it by more than 2:1.
