For sale is an Arisaka Type 38 Long Rifle bolt-action rifle in 6.5mm. Serial number – 00606541. This Arisaka still has the chrysanthemum (with some markings over the top of the design) and Japanese Type 38 stamped on the receiver. Was produced by Kokura Arsenal. The Type 38 rifle was a bolt-action service rifle used by the Empire of Japan predominantly during the Second Sino-Japanese War and Second World War. The design was adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1905. PLEASE NOTE: The rifle is missing the front sight and has some serious pitting inside of the barrel.
