This Arisaka still has the chrysanthemum partially scrapped out and Japanese Type 38 stamped on the receiver. Was produced by Nagoya Arsenal. The Type 38 rifle was a bolt-action service rifle used by the Empire of Japan predominantly during the Second Sino-Japanese War and Second World War. The design was adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1905.
