This rifle was manufactured in 1940, and has been sporterized as seen in the photos. The Lee-Enfield rifle was the standard issue rifle of the British Empire through the first half of the 20th century. The UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and British India all manufactured and used the Enfield rifle through WWI and WWII.
