For sale is an FN Model 1922 Semi-automatic pistol in .32 ACP/ 7.65 mm. Serial number- 203802. This pistol is in great condition especially considering its age and comes with a 9-round magazine. The pistol features a German National Workers Party stamp (We can't say the acronym anymore) and German Wehrmacht (WWII Army) stamps. The original Model 1910 was a John Browning design sold to FN in the early 20th century and one was used to assassinate Franz Ferdinand, effectivly kicking off the first World War. After the War the M1910 was updated with a longer barrel and grip and was introduced in 1922 during the interwar years. The Model 1922/Mle 1922 inevitably went to war during World War 2. The Model 1922 saw service with several European countries for military and police use through the end of the war in 1945. In 1939/40, when the German Army kicked out allied forces in Western Europe they had FN continue production of the Model 1922 under military observation. The Model 1922 was named the Pistole 626 b in German service. The b indicated its Belgian production.
