For sale is a Iver Johnson Safety Hammer revolver in .38 S&W. Serial number- D8135. Double top latch, marked on the top of the barrel rib IVER JOHNSON'S ARMS & CYCLE WORKS FITCHBURG. MASS USA. The Nickel finish is in good condition but there are faded/scratches over the serial number. The cylinder rotates freely until engaged by the double action. This is not a bug but a feature, Iver Johnson designed this revolver without a lock-up. It comes with hard rubber Owl Head grips, the Old Head looks at the barrel (this may be an indication it is black powder only).
