J Stevens Visible Loader – Pump .22

For sale is a J Stevens Visible Loader in .22 short, long, and long rifle. Serial number- Z189. This visible loader is in good condition and the action functions, however there is a crack on the right side of the pump handle and some rusting at the end of the barrel. In 1908, the J Stevens Arms and Tool Co. of Chicopee Falls, Mass., brought out a novel pump-action .22 rifle that was marked on the barrel, "Visible Loading Repeater." It was cataloged as the "‘Visible loading Repeater’ No. 70," and continued in the line in .22 Shot/Long/LR or .22 Short only (Model 70) versions through the companies name change in 1916 (J. Stevens Arms Co.).
