Japanese Arisaka Type 38 Training Rifle – Do Not Shoot
For sale is a Japanese Arisaka Type 38 bolt action training rifle in 6.5x50mm Arisaka. Serial number- 52. This rifle is missing all the normal marking associated with Imperial Arisaka rifles. Rather it has a 52 and some Japanese characters on the stock. The bore is smooth with little to no rifling (Worn-out Type 38 barrels were often used for training rifles). Although it is a training rifle it is in good condition and comes with the sling and dust cover. Both are rare to find on an Arisaka training rifle. There is no import mark meaning this was WWII bring back and all the parts match with the 52 serial stamped on the receiver, bolt, bayonet lug, and dust cover. PLEASE NOTE Since this is a training rifle it is not safe to shoot a normal 6.5×50 Japanese round through it. The receiver cannot handle the pressures of a real round and used wood bullets, blanks, gallery rounds, or empty casings for training. V2-B6 Barrel Length: 31.5 Bore condition: Good
