For sale is a JP Sauer Mauser K98k S/147 semi-automatic pistol in 8mm Mauser. Serial number – 2471. This rifle is in good condition. However, the serials are NOT matching on the rifle (please see the photos). The German proof stamps are Pre-WWII including Wiemar Eagles are clear and present with this rifle. There are other German WWII stamped parts on this rifle including the butt plate and magazine plate. J.P Sauer coded and stamped rifles are extremely popular to collectors and they are highly sought after due to the prestige of the brand, not unlike Winchester-made M1 Carbines and Garands.
