For sale is a MAS MLE 1949-56 in 7.5 France. Serial number- G54004. This MAS 1949-56 is in good functioning condition and was imported by Century Arms. It features a grenade launcher, removeable magazine, sling and a rubber butt pad. The receiver and dust cover are stamped with the serial 54004, and the barrel is stamped with 62897. The buttstock appears to have been refinished. This rifle exhibits surface wear consistent with service use but is in great condition for its age. Please refer to pics for exact condition. The MAS-49 is a French semi-automatic rifle that replaced various bolt-action rifles as the French service rifle that was produced from 1949. It was designed and manufactured by the government-owned MAS arms factory. The French Army formal designation of the MAS-49 is Fusil semi-automatique 7 mm 5 M.
