For sale is a Remington 03-A3 bolt action rifle in .30-06 SPRG. Serial number- 4151778. This rifle was originally manufactured in 1944 but then had the original stock replaced or modified to a sporterized version. This 03-A3 comes with a leather sling and features a 22" barrel.

The M1903, formally the United States Rifle, is an American five-round magazine-fed, bolt-action service repeating rifle, used primarily during the first half of the 20th century. It was famously used as a standard issue infantry rifle during World War One and Two. Today, it remains popular as a civilian firearm, historical collector's piece, a competitive shooting rifle, and as a military drill rifle.

This particular 03-A3 was acquired by the Golden State Arms Corporation and modified into one of their Santa Fe style rifles. This modification was listed as their Sante Fe Springfield Sporter MK 1 Model 12013 rifle. In the 50s and 60s GSA was known for taking military surplus rifles including 1903s, Enfields and M1s and refurbishing and sporterizing them for the civilian market.
