For sale is a Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 bolt action rifle in .30-06 SPRG. Serial number- 338151. This 1903 is in good condition and features a 24" barrel and a sporterized stock. Originally manufactured in 1918. After WWII The United States had a massive number of 1903 and 1917 rifles that they needed to empty from thier inventory. A common practice was to replace the battle stock with a sporter and sell the rifles to hunters.
