For sale is a Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk single-action revolver in .44 Mag. Serial number – 11887. Mfg Dated: 1963 making this an early production of the Super Blackhawk! It is in excellent condition and Includes the original box, manual, and Pre-Transfer Bar hammer/parts. This revolver was produced before the Ruger transfer bar and was recalled to add the bar for safety purposes. Ruger revolvers without the transfer bar are more desirable to the collector and although this one is installed with the transfer bar, it has the original parts to revert this back to its pre-Bar model. Ruger's Super Blackhawk revolver is like the original Ruger Blackhawk revolver only chambered in the powerful .44 Magnum round. Based on the single-action army, the Ruger Blackhawk is a beautiful upgrade of the SAA for the modern shooter.
