For sale is a Springfield Model 1903 bolt action rifle in .30-06 SPRG. Serial number- 301933. This 1903 is in great condition and has a 24" barrel. Features an "S A Firebomb 8-29" stamp on the barrel indicating it was manufactured in 1929, however, the serial number dates the receiver to 1908. After WWI many 1903s had their barrels replaced with improved heat-treated barrels. Also has a circled "P" proof mark behind the trigger guard. The M1903 Springfield, formally the United States Rifle, Caliber .30-06, Model 1903, is an American five-round magazine-fed, bolt-action service repeating rifle, used primarily during the first half of the 20th century.
