For sale is a Hamilton and Son No. 27 Rifle in .22 CALIBER. This gun does not have a serial number. This rifle is a "wall hanger". It does not function and cannot be fired. It is sold as is. The Hamilton Rifle No. 27 was marketed as a "Boy's Rifle" and was often advertised in the back of comic books. It was also popular as a backpacking gun. The receiver is marked – "The Hamilton Rifle No 27 22 Cal, patented Oct. 30, 1900 – Aug 13, 1907, MDF by C.J. Hamilton & Son, Plymouth, Mich, USA.
