Winchester Model 1894 – .32-40 – RARE First Year Production!

$3,999.00

For sale is a Winchester Model 94 lever-action rifle in .32-40 Winchester. Serial number- 3500. This Model 94 is in great condition considering the gun's age with most of the finish still present and there is no major damage to the wood foregrip and stock. However, father time does show itself on this rifle, there are some small hairline cracks where the stock meets the receiver, some of the screws appear stripped, and some dings/scratches can be found all over the rifle. It features a 26" octagonal barrel, chambered in .32-40 Win one of the original calibers for the Model 1894 (the other was the .38-55) before being chambered in the famous .30-30 Win that introduced the world to smokeless powder rounds. The action is smooth for a gun its age and the bore also looks amazing with some very minor pitting spots (see in photos).

We believe this Winchester Model 1894 rifle is an early 2nd model, 1st-year production with a very low 3500 serial number. The model 1894 was the brainchild of legendary firearms inventor John Browning. It is a lever-action repeating rifle that became one of the most famous, popular and proven hunting rifles of all time. In fact, it is the highest-selling commercial sporting rifle in history with over 7 million rifles sold in its 120-year history. In 1895 the rifle introduced the world to the .30 WCF (.30-30 WIN), the first smokeless powder round. This is among the rarest gems to find for Winchester collectors! Don't let this pass you by!and stock.
