For sale is a Browning Lightning Superposed over-under shotgun in 12ga. Serial number- 28585S4. This shotgun has a 2 3/4" chamber. Please note: this shotgun has some "custom" engravings on the receiver and some markings on the trigger guard. Looks to have been manufactured in 1952. The Browning Superposed was the first over-under shotgun design to be mass-produced and the last firearm to be designed by John Browning before his death from heart failure in 1926, at the age of 71.
