For sale is an Arisaka Type 38 Long Rifle bolt-action rifle in 6.5mm. Serial number – 13511. This Arisaka has the Japanese Type 38 stamped on the receiver but it has the Chrisanthumum filed off the receiver. Was produced by Kokura Arsenal. The Type 38 rifle was a bolt-action service rifle used by the Empire of Japan predominantly during the Second Sino-Japanese War and Second World War. The design was adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1905. PLEASE NOTE: The rifle is missing the front sight and has some serious pitting inside of the barrel.
