For sale is a Colt Police Positive in .38 S&W. Serial number- 145049. This Police Positive is in was manufactured in 1922 and features a 4" barrel and a 1.25" cylinder with a 6 round capacity. Please note it fires a .38 caliber round and not the .38 Special. This revolver is an good example of police revolvers used during the Prohibition Era and would make a great addition to any collection of Colt Revolvers. Please refer to the photos as there is wear across the finish, a small chip in the bottom of the left grip, and pitting in the barrel.
