For sale is a Walther P.38 AC 42 semi-automatic pistol in 9mm. Serial number – 5055h. This pistol is in good condition but has pitting on the frame, slide, and in the bore. It comes with 1 original P38 magazine. We believe the magazine is original due to its signature P38 stamp, few post war magazines had P38 stamped on the side. The serials of the slide, frame, and barrel all match! Based on the stamps the pistol was produced in Sept. 1942 and all the 359 factory and proof stamps are present on the frame and slide (See in Photos). The Walther P.38 was the standard issue pistol of Germany during WWII and over 1 million until the War ended, then the pistol served in both West and East German police forces.
